This is to be accomplished in a manner consistent with safety, quality and production goals.\nKey Responsibilities\nCutter Deck Operators are required to cross train between Line 1 and Line 4 Cutter duties.\nEnsures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.\nAttend and participate in all training activities for the position. Ensure the acquired skills and knowledge are applied.\nEnsures sanitation of equipment and housekeeping of the entire facility.\nEnsures self-compliance with Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.\nConducts oneself in a professional manner and ensures that personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the Company.\nEnsures that equipment in assigned area of unit operations is monitored and maintained.\nEnsures that line flow is monitored and maintained. \nEnsures that necessary level of communication is maintained with team members and support groups regarding line conditions. \nEnsures that appropriate information is entered into and extracted from MMS and WonderWare.\nEnsures that cut changes are performed as needed and per customer and company specifications. \nTypical Education\nHigh School graduate or equivilent\nRelevant Experience\nMust have successfully completed the Job Skill Evaluation to begin training in the position. Must complete the Structured Job Training program within recommended timeframe to remain in the position permanently.\nMust be able to demonstrate the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculate percentages to make proper adjustments and calibrations, as required.\nMust be able to read, understand, and communicate in English in a manner to successfully complete job duties.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds (i.e., GRL spindles).\nMust be able to work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals in small areas.\nMust be able to use a computer and successfully navigate through various applications.
