Responsible for ensuring successful day-to-day operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nLocation Operations\nOrganizes day-to-day operation and determines work practices and procedures to optimize utilization of resources.\nAssists management in planning equipment purchases and facility improvement.\nPerforms recordkeeping functions related to inventory, scheduling, parts ordering, employee files, etc.\nEnsure inter-office communications on appropriate subjects\nCoordinate custom application and equipment - including getting field maps in order, loading product, scheduling equipment operators\nEnsure equipment is well maintained and in good repair\nMaintain safe, clean, and efficient work environment for our employees and customers.\nKeep location facilities in compliance with AWSA warehouse standard\nBe familiar with all location reporting requirements and ensure completion\nOversee and ensure location grounds and facilities are clean and tidy\nParticipate & contribute to regularly scheduled team calls and individual coaching sessions with Market Manager\nTrain, mentor, and oversee temporary operations staff\nEnsure timely data entry for accounts into CRM system and ensure customer records are up to date and current.\nEnsure appropriate level of customer service for all customers\nPromote and ensure delivery of Agronomy and Ag Innovation services for assigned customers\nDeliver farm inputs directly to customers upon request\nAttend workshops/training sessions to continually upgrade skills and knowledge\nAttend manufacturer, distributor and industry meetings and functions as required\nMaintain excellent working relationships with vendor/supplier representatives\nIndustry Liason\nEstablish and maintain strong relationships and large industry network\nCommunicate with designated representatives for manufactures and distributors\nLearn and upgrade knowledge of new products and product updates on chemical, fertilizer, and seed as required\nMaintain strong working knowledge of key industry people and competitors\nSimplot Grower Solutions Team Member\nContribute to and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace\nConduct yourself in a professional manner in and out of the workplace\nKeep and maintain confidentiality of all customers and Simplot Grower Solutions business\nEnsure all licenses are up to date and in compliance with provincial and municipal regulations\nHelp with any special projects as required\nBe familiar with and live the values that are defined by Simplot Grower Solutions\nContinually develop leadership and business skills\nBe active supporters and positive contributors to the communities that we serve\nSet, maintain, and live high ethical and moral standards\nFill in for all roles when needed with appropriate skills and talents\nSupport safety practices and initiatives as set by safety officer and ensure safe driving habits\nMaintain and tidy up office and yard\nDemonstrate respect and courtesy for all team members, customers, suppliers, and community\nExpectations\nSimplot Grower Solutions’ relationship with customers is one of our primary differentiators.
