You’ll assist customers both in-store and over the phone, provide guidance on animal health, feed, minerals, and related products, and help keep the store and warehouse running smoothly.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys agriculture, working directly with customers, and staying active throughout the day.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild positive relationships with current and prospective customers by providing friendly, knowledgeable service.\nAssist walk-in and phone customers with questions about animal health, feed, mineral products, and treatments.\nHelp customers identify products that meet their needs and support retail and counter sales.\nGather customer feedback and partner with internal teams to provide a high level of service.\nProcess, prepare, and coordinate orders for animal health products, minerals, feed, and other merchandise.\nFollow applicable Board of Pharmacy requirements for labeling, invoicing, and record retention related to prescription drug sales.\nHelp maintain accurate store inventory and support efforts to minimize inventory shrink and excess product.\nReceive merchandise, pull and pack orders, prepare shipments, and load and unload trucks.\nStock and merchandise products to help maintain an organized, customer-ready retail environment.\nSupport outside sales representatives with receiving and processing customer orders and invoices.\nCoordinate product distribution and assist with local customer deliveries as needed.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for someone who is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and agricultural environment.\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nExperience\n2+ years of related experience and/or training in ranching, dairy, livestock, agriculture, retail, or a related environment preferred.\nExperience working with animal health, livestock feed, or mineral products is a plus.\nBasic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet-based applications, or similar systems.\nSkills & Qualifications\nStrong customer service and interpersonal skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.\nComfortable learning and using computer and point-of-sale or business systems.\nAbility to use standard office and retail equipment.\nValid driver’s license.\nAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.\nWhy Join Simplot Western Stockmen’s?\nAt Western Stockmen’s, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with customers who rely on us to support their livestock and agricultural operations.
