We're building an AI-first company, and design sits right at the centre of that. A new design system is rolling out across the product right now, so there's a lot to shape from day one.\nNow we're looking for someone who gets excited by questions like:\nWhat would it take for customers to choose us because of how the product feels to use?\n\nHow should a design team work when AI can build a first version in minutes?\n\nWhich five tasks, if we made them twice as fast, would change an HR admin's day the most?\n\nAs Head of Design, you'll own design for two of our products. Simployer One, our HR platform. HR admins across the Nordics use it every day to get their work done. And Knowledge which is where they go when they need HR guidance and answers from our experts.\nYour mission\nThis is a player-coach role, and it comes in three parts.\nDesign. You'll own end-to-end design for Simployer One and Knowledge. You'll be hands-on with the highest-impact problems: the heavy admin tasks HR teams handle every week, and the flows full of roles and permissions. The goal is to cut customer effort, so tasks get done faster and with fewer clicks.\nDesign ops. You'll set how the team works day to day, through research cadence, critique, handoff and quality gates. You'll raise the bar for what a designer at Simployer is expected to do. We've already started rolling out new ways of working, and you'll be the one to make them stick.\nAI. You'll lead the team into agent-first design. We've set up a prototype lab, and every designer builds in code on the problem they've chosen to tackle. What we don't have yet are proper design workflows for AI. You'll decide what good looks like, how we evaluate AI output, and where the line sits between what designers own and what agents do.\nYou'll thrive here if..\nYou've spent years designing complex B2B products, the kind with lots of users, roles and moving parts\n\nLeading a team hasn't stopped you from doing the design work yourself, and you still love it\n\nHelping designers grow is one of the best parts of the job for you\n\nBuilding and prototyping with AI tools is part of how you work every day\n\nYou've designed AI-driven experiences and seen how real users respond to them\n\nSuccess to you means what changed for customers and the business\n\nDesign systems are something you've rolled out across teams, and you got people to actually use them\n\nTime with customers energises you\n\nWhat you bring:\nWe're not big on long checklists.
