As an Engineer II, IT Infrastructure focusing on network engineering, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the organisation’s network infrastructure across cloud environments.\n\nKey Tasks you will be involved in\nNetwork Infrastructure Operations\nManage and support enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) in 24x7 production environments.\nInstall, configure, and maintain network hardware/software; manage user access, permissions, and authentication systems.\nEnsure high availability, resilience, and performance; perform routine health checks, monitoring, and capacity planning.\n\nCloud & Hybrid Connectivity (AWS)\nDesign, implement, and manage connectivity between on-premise data centres and AWS cloud environments.\nSupport AWS VPC architecture, VPN (Site-to-Site / Client), and Direct Connect integration.\nTroubleshoot hybrid connectivity issues across cloud and on-premises, coordinating with telecom providers.\nNetwork Security & Compliance\nConfigure and manage firewalls, security groups, NACLs, network segmentation, and zoning.\nImplement security best practices aligned with IM8/government standards and PCI DSS where applicable.\nWork with SecOps on vulnerability remediation, hardening, and incident response.\nMonitoring, Performance & Optimisation\nMonitor network performance using SolarWinds, PRTG, CloudWatch, or equivalent.\nAnalyse traffic patterns, latency, and throughput; identify and resolve bottlenecks.\nIncident Management & Troubleshooting\nInvestigate and resolve outages, connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues with cloud teams, telcos, and contractors.\nParticipate in major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).\nDeployment & Change Management\nImplement network changes following CAB processes; support deployments requiring network updates.\nPerform validation and rollback planning for changes.\nExternal Connectivity & Vendor Coordination\nManage connectivity with external partners, payment gateways, and telecom providers.\nCoordinate vendor provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation; monitor connectivity post-provisioning.\nResilience, DR & Business Continuity\nDesign and support network redundancy, failover mechanisms, and DR configurations.\nParticipate in DR exercises and validate failover readiness.\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and runbooks.\nRecommend improvements for performance, security, and scalability.\nOperational Support\nProvide after-hours support for incidents, maintenance, firmware/software updates, and critical network changes.\n\nHow to Apply\nSend us your resume with a short note telling us what excites you most about this opportunity to .\n\nThis role might be for you if you have:\nTraining in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in network engineering/operations supporting enterprise or large-scale mission-critical networks in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).\nHands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, VPN, Direct Connect); experience with multiple clouds (Azure, GCP) is a plus.\nStrong knowledge of hybrid cloud networking, TCP/IP, routing, switching (Layer 2/3), DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, network security best practices, high availability, and DR design.\nHands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), load balancers, and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ethereal, traceroute).\nPreferred certifications: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Check Point (CCSA/CCSE), Fortinet (FCA/FCP), AWS (CloudOps Engineer – Associate).\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
