This position will follow the weekend shift schedule, Every other Thursday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and Friday - Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm. Overtime, including additional days, may be required based upon business need. This position is eligible for $3.50 shift differential for every hour worked.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)\nOperate automatic stamping presses as needed to support department and company goals. Use powered hand tools to make adjustments to equipment as necessary. (70%)\nCommunicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements. Assist other associates with press set-ups and changeovers. (10%)\nPerform quality inspections to blueprints and specifications using provided precision measuring tools and maintain a clean work environment to meet 6S standards. (10%)\nCount, package and palletize finished product in accordance with work orders. Ensure auxiliary equipment is operating to standard. (10%)\nDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nIf you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.\n1 year Related experience and/or training preferred.\nSafety: Able to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and by promoting a safe work environment.\nAccountability & Dependability: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.\nPhysical Demands: Able to remain standing the entire duration of shift, and lift up to 40 lbs using proper technique consistently.\nMathematical Reasoning: Able to apply basic math skills.\nInstruction Comprehension: Able to comprehend a variety of instructions furnished in English, including written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nCommunication: Able to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings.\nMeasurements: Able to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance, to use protractor to measure angles to +/- 1 degree and ability to use and read a micrometer, and caliper.\nProblem Solving: Ability to identify options for solving a problem encountered during the manufacturing process.\nComputer Skills: Able to use computer or touchscreen to perform daily tasks and required training.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
