You’ll rely on your creativity, your curiosity and your strategizing and collaborative skills as you work with subject-matter experts and stakeholders across multiple departments and product lines to transform information and ideas into effective, compelling content. Your comprehensive understanding of numerous target audiences and deep knowledge of company style will allow you to tailor engaging and resonant copy that builds brand awareness and customer loyalty- while striving for clarity, concision, grammatical accuracy and a consistent brand voice throughout all company materials\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of time)\nCopywriting (70%)\nConceive, write and produce clear, accurate and engaging content for a variety of target audiences and purposes, tailoring messaging, tone and level of technical detail to meet the needs of each audience, including copy for ads, literature, email, blogs, articles, video and websites\nProducing and publishing articles that market the company and its products\nDetermine what makes products appealing to our target audiences \nDevelop compelling new creative and messaging concepts to inform, educate or persuade target audiences\nCraft comprehensive campaign messaging briefs and copy to guide content development across all marketing channels, with an understanding of the unique characteristics, conventions and audience expectations of each channel (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)\nEnsure cohesive campaign messaging throughout all collateral\nResearch, interpret and translate complex product and technical information into clear, compelling marketing language that is accessible to the intended audience\nCreate and present voiceover scripts for video \nUtilize search engine optimization techniques; incorporate prominent key words into copy\nMaintain brand voice and adhere to company style guide\nContent Strategy and Collaboration (20%)\nWork closely with Communications Content Manager to develop strategic content for marketing campaigns, monitor content-related metrics and identify areas for content improvement\nIdentify cross-promotional opportunities\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, to create and refine copy, and to finalize deliverables \nInterview clients and experts to generate creative ideas\nWork with Creative Director and design team to conceptualize and develop effective marketing campaigns\nExplore various marketing angles and concepts - visual and verbal elements in tandem - with the content and creative teams\nResearch relevant industry topics to identify new content\nCopy Editing and Proofreading (10%)\nCheck all copy for spelling and grammar errors before delivery \nRevise, edit and proofread content as needed\nConsult with Senior Copy Editor to stay current on company style updates and to resolve outstanding style issues\nTRAVEL REQUIRED\nThis position doesn’t require domestic or international travel.\nWORK STATUS & LOCATION\nThis full-time, exempt position is fully remote, based at our Home Office in Plano, TX.\nRELOCATION\nRelocation is not available for this position.\nPAY\n$84,400 - $105,000 / year\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
