You will design and develop cloud-based APIs and services that support next-generation engineering and design applications for the building industry.\nWe are actively investing in the transformation of our software platform from traditional desktop applications toward modern cloud-based services and APIs hosted in Microsoft Azure. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor team members, and grow into a Technical Lead position as our platform modernization efforts expand.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)\nDesign, develop, and support scalable cloud-native services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core. (30%)\nCollaborate with architects and engineers to modernize existing desktop application functionality into service-oriented and cloud-hosted solutions. (20%)\nDesign and implement secure, observable, and resilient distributed systems leveraging Azure cloud technologies. (15%)\nParticipate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture reviews while promoting engineering best practices. (10%)\nDevelop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes to improve software quality and delivery velocity. (10%)\nParticipate in Agile planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. (10%)\nMentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and development practices.
