Alongside our sim racing products, we're expanding into new areas such as flight simulation and professional and industrial simulator applications.\nAt the heart of Hervanta, Tampere, our skilled and warm-hearted team of almost 70 professionals designs products known for their top performance and high quality. With exciting projects underway and more about to launch, we're looking for two new colleagues to join our 10-person HW and electronics team to design the electronics for our upcoming products, from steering wheels, wheelbases and pedals to entirely new product categories.\nAre you one of the (Senior) Electronics Designers we're looking for?\nThe roles in a nutshell:\nThese are full-time, permanent roles.\n\nWe are located in Hervanta, Tampere. We offer overall flexible working conditions to our personnel, but these roles still require regular presence at the office.\n\nStart date is flexible and agreed together.\n\nThe salary range is 4200€-5500€/month, depending on your experience and skills (architectural and system-level design experience, project skills, and capability to mentor others).\n\nThis recruitment process is anonymous (read more).\n\nHigh-quality electronics from idea to implementation\nAs an Electronics Designer, you’re involved in the entire development process from concept to finished product - not just a small piece of the puzzle. You have plenty of independence in your work, but you’re never on your own. You will be working closely with the project team - mechanics, software, production, sales, and marketing - and there's always someone to bounce ideas off.\nOur goal is to develop durable and user-friendly products that cater to the needs of our customers. Therefore, you get to strive for the best results whether it comes to tool selection or choosing high-quality components for circuit boards. The work also extends beyond the screen, as you will plan and carry out testing and validation, get hands-on with the products, and solve any issues that arise.\nEven though your work mainly consists of electronics design, you are also able to extend your role based on your own skills and interests to, e.g., mechanics, software, simulations, EMC, approval processes, or production. As our R&D team is growing and we are continuously developing our ways of working, you also get to be part of the team and process development.\nWhat makes you thrive in our team\nA solid foundation in electronics design, both schematics and layout, ideally gained through hands-on work with embedded electronics products\n\nUnderstanding of how microcontrollers work as a whole, built through practical experience: peripherals, analog vs. digital signals, serial protocols, and different PHY interfaces\n\nExperience in analog signal processing, including different filter types and designing them for signal conditioning in the ADC path\n\nFirst-hand experience from an electronics point of view with a product evolving from idea to serial production\n\nIndependent way of working, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to schedule and prioritize your own tasks and work\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and other diverse stakeholders\n\nGenuine interest in technology and drive to develop your skills in electronics design. Enjoy working on your own projects? You can work on them in your free time in our lab room equipped with professional tools.\n\nAs a Senior Electronics Designer, you also bring:\nProven experience in electronics design, including products that have made it all the way to serial production\n\nUnderstanding of mass production manufacturing processes, techniques and materials, their possibilities, and DFM principles\n\nDeep understanding of noise sources, EMC and EMI, and how they affect the design process, as well as experience with product compliance and approval processes\n\nExperience in electronic circuit simulation, e.g. LTspice or similar tools\n\nExperience in architecture and system-level design, and in making technical decisions that affect the whole product\n\nAbility to take technical ownership of a product's electronics and drive the work forward within the project team\n\nExperience in mentoring and supporting other designers\n\nAlso, we'd be excited if you bring any or all of the following to the table:\nExperience with KiCad for PCB design\n\nFamiliarity with embedded software development\n\nHands-on skills in electromechanics and using Fusion 360 for design work\n\nIn return, we offer you\nPeople-first culture: Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. We offer a range of well-being benefits, including a paid 30-minute mid-day stroll daily, bicycle benefit, 400€/year well-being allowance (usable for sports, culture, or wellness), an extensive occupational healthcare plan, and access to high-quality sports equipment for borrowing.\n\nFlexibility and freedom: We support a healthy work-life balance through flexible working hours and hybrid work options. You will also have access to quality tools and software, and yes, you’re welcome to use our equipment (including 3D printers) for your own hobby or DIY projects.\n\nContinuous learning: We believe in supporting your growth. You can choose training or education programs we’ll happily cover, and we provide access to professional literature of your choice. We want to empower every team member to keep developing their skills.\n\nThroughout the recruitment and onboarding process, we’ll take time to understand your interests and strengths - together we’ll shape a role in the project that truly excites you.\nAbout us\nAs a technology leader in sim racing, we create long-lasting, high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. Our gear is used by simulation enthusiasts and e-sports athletes, and also by some of the world's fastest motorsport drivers to train off track. Now we're taking the same technology and know-how into new areas, from flight simulation to professional and industrial simulators.\nWhile our products combine the precision of e-sports with industrial expertise and raw performance, the atmosphere at our office in Hervanta is cozy and welcoming. Our relaxed and flat organizational culture is symbolized by woolen socks, worn by everyone - including the CEO. This unique blend of cutting-edge technology and a supportive work environment has earned us the title of Finland’s Most Human-Centric Workplace in 2024, by Hälsa.\nSimucube (Granite Devices Oy) was founded in 2007 and is fully owned by its employees. In 2025, our revenue was over 15 M€.\nInterested in joining us?\n We're excited to hear from you! We review applications as they arrive and may start interviewing candidates already during the application period, so send yours as soon as possible, and at the latest on Thursday, October 15.\nWe have two open positions, and we're looking for both Electronics Designers and Senior Electronics Designers. If you're interested in the senior role, please mention it in your application. The process starts with a short screening call, followed by interviews with our engineering team.\nTitta Saarinen, our Talent Acquisition & Development Manager (), is happy to tell you more about the positions. You can read more about our daily work life at simucube.com/careers.\nPlease note that candidates must be eligible to work in Finland, as we're currently unable to assist with relocation or the visa process.\nAnonymous recruitment\nEqual opportunities for everyone and continuously developing our ways of working are at the core of our company, which is why we use anonymous recruitment. We welcome people from different backgrounds and life situations, and we're committed to treating all candidates equally.\nOur goal with anonymous recruitment is to bring a more diverse group of candidates to the interview stage and to choose the most suitable person, regardless of their personal characteristics. Anonymous screening helps us keep unconscious bias from affecting the outcome.\nAt Simucube, this means all applications are reviewed in anonymous mode in our recruitment system. The system automatically blurs personal information such as your name, email address and photo from both the application form and your CV. We select candidates for the interview process based on the rest of the information in the CV and application form. From the interview stage onward, all the information you've provided will be visible.\nYou can read more about our recruitment process at simucube.com/careers!","description_format":"text","description_chars":8633,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Continuous learning","Flexible schedule","Hybrid work"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Finland","iso":"FI","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Motorsports"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-05T00:21:45Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":82,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.824,"p_room":1,"age_days":11,"expected_fill_days":39,"reasons":["conf:2","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-10T05:45:15Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":74292,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/simucube-senior-electronics-designer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/simucube-senior-electronics-designer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-11T00:50:30Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1117,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3883,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-12T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":2308174},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=2308174"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fsimucube-senior-electronics-designer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fsimucube-senior-electronics-designer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fsimucube-senior-electronics-designer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/simucube-senior-electronics-designer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fsimucube-senior-electronics-designer"}]}
