Interns will work alongside experienced professionals to build foundational skills in areas such as IT operations, system and network administration, cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and technical support. Through mentorship and practical assignments, participants will strengthen their troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to real-world IT and DevSecOps environments.\nEach year SimVentions invites a select number of students to join us for our immersive 11-week paid internship program where you will experience our outstanding company culture while gaining valuable experience that you can implement into your post graduate professional career.\nEligibility:\nSimVentions offers internship opportunities across a variety of technical disciplines, including systems engineering, software engineering, modeling & simulation, and cybersecurity engineering. Priority consideration will be given to returning interns and students pursuing degrees that align with our core technical areas. Students pursuing degrees in other fields may be considered on a case-by-case basis.\nDeadlines: All resumes with attached cover letters must be received no later than December 31, 2026. Any resumes received after this time will not be considered. Notification: All candidates will be notified of their selection status no later than March 2027.\nClearance\nA Clearance is not required for our internship program but all candidates must be eligible to obtain a clearance.\nRequirements\nCompleted Freshman year of college by the start of the internship (must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior).\nEnrolled in a relevant degree program such as systems engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.\nStrong interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nA proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a commitment to personal and professional growth.\nPrevious experience or coursework in systems engineering, software development, or cybersecurity is a plus.\nResponsibilities\nInformation Technology Intern\nSupport the build and operation of technology systems with the tools, technologies, and processes used to support reliable and efficient technical environments.
