US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.\nRequirements\n2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications \n2+ years of software development experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks \nExperience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications \nExperience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions \nExperience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment \nAbility to obtain a Secret clearance \nBachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree \nResponsibilities\nWrite, modify, and implement source code for new full-stack applications and expand features within existing codebases.\nDevelop end-to-end solutions using both front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React) and back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, NodeJS).\nPartner with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot technical issues, engineer solutions to complex problems, and deliver features in an Agile environment.\nWork with team members and clients to understand functional requirements and replace manual processes with optimized software automation.\nUtilize automated testing tools to write test cases, perform continuous maintenance, and ensure overall system reliability.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products \nExperience with Java, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, or NodeJS \nAbility to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization \nAbility to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance \nActive Secret clearance \nEducation\nBachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degreeCompensation\nCompensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.\nThe projected annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 (USD).
