Candidate will work on a diverse team with fellow SimVentions testers and government personnel. This position requires on-site presence at our office in King George, VA, as well as our customer site at NSWC Dahlgren.\nTravel\nThere are opportunities for travel, but it is not required.Clearance\nAn ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.\nRequirements\nBachelor's of science from an accredited university majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field of study or military operational experience as a Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System Operator and Maintenance Technician\nResponsibilities\nConduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and across multiple builds in a lab setting. Document pertinent information in lab logs\nModify and troubleshoot lab hardware, equipment, simulators, and network configurations in a dynamic environment\nPerform data analysis of test output; identify and develop data extraction and data reduction elements for test procedures that aid in requirement verification\nDocument system problems by creating change requests (CR)/problem reports (PR)\nVerify software fixes for CR/PR resolution\nDevelop new test procedures and modify existing test procedures to verify requirements and system functionality\nConduct peer reviews of test procedures\nDevelop and maintain Test Verification Matrices (TVM)\nGenerate test plans and test reports\nCommunicate testing event summaries verbally and in writing, including the ability to provide technical briefs, defend data analysis, and present at various technical reviews\nCommunicate with SimVentions’ management about test initiatives and issues\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nPrior US Navy operational experience as an E-4 or above Fire Controlman (FC) or Fire Control Technician (FT) rate possessing the TTWCS Operation and Maintenance Technician NEC (V20A) or equivalent\nExperience with Capabilities Based Test and Evaluation (CBT&E)\nExperience with automated testing tools and methods\nExperience using Jira to document and track CRs/PRs as well as tracking tasks\nAbility to create test and lab schedules through the assignment of both lab resources and personnel to tasks\nEducation\nBachelor's of science from an accredited university majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field of study is required for those without operational experience.Compensation\nCompensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.\nThe projected annual compensation range for this position is $68,000.00- $90,000.00 (USD).
