We were named a 2025 Regional Finalist in Canada's\nBest Managed Companies Program, and we're looking for our next Print Production\nCoordinator to help us keep raising the bar.\nCompensation - $25-$32 per hour\nThe Digital Operator is responsible for producing complete specialized digital projects in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. Coordinates workload schedule to meet customer time frame requirements while achieving optimum productivity. Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output. Works closely with other staff members to exceed customer satisfaction and service expectations.\nAs the Digital Operator and a member of the Production Team, you are accountable for:\nMeeting the department production and quality goals.\nPlaying a key role in meeting company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals, such as guaranteed satisfaction and value for our customers.\nContributing to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nGeneral and Administrative\nCoordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.\nComply with all OHSA safety requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with the Print Supervisor and the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that both sales and customer objectives are met.\nFollow systems and procedures outlined in the company Procedure Manual.\nDigital Press Operations\nAct as a Secondary Digital Operator to assist in the Digital department when necessarily. \nProcess handwork assembly according to specifications.\nClean and disinfect workstation.\nOperate the digital press in accordance with equipment operating procedures.\nRetrieve the correct work order and load the job into the machine according to specifications.\nInput the appropriate configuration based on job specifications and requirements.\nReceive and output digital files for use in completion of work order.\nAssist in and perform operation of digital presses to produce complete customized jobs.\nAssist in and perform completion of all digital press operator functions as noted on the docket.\nVisually inspect the job for imperfections and adjust accordingly.\nPackage jobs, complete work orders, tickets, and delivery receipts as necessary and placed in their assigned areas.\nRecord and maintain work/job information onto an activity sheet for tracking purposes.\nPerform quality controls on the assigned machine/ equipment.\nTroubleshoot breakdowns, conduct minor repairs, and perform routine maintenance.\nOperate assigned equipment/machine in accordance with operating procedures.\nControl and adjust machine settings when required.\nMaintain knowledge of safety equipment.\nResponsible for cleaning and machine setup of assigned equipment/machine\nTroubleshoot any issues that may arise and/or report to the Print Supervisor.\nEnsure that the area and the machine is kept in a clean, safe and orderly manner.\nOther duties as assigned by the supervisor.\nEquipment and Supplies\nClean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and update maintenance logs.\nUnderstand and perform all troubleshooting procedures on the digital press.\nMonitor and manage inventory of supplies. Order and stock supplies as instructed by the supervisor.\nInform supervisor of equipment problems.\nPlace service calls and coordinate with the vendor for the repair of equipment as needed.\nPerform repairs and replace machine consumables as needed.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.\nMinimum of 1 year experience in a print facility.\nPrevious print and/or machine knowledge/experience is an asset.\nPrevious experience in operating machinery is an asset.\nGood understanding of digital press (i.e. Indigo/HP 6900, 12000, 100k) functions.\nFamiliarity with handling digital files.\nAble to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.\nStrong interpersonal skills e.g. working well with others, communication, positive attitude.\nGood written, verbal and mathematical skills.\nGood attention to detail and hand eye coordination.\nAble to work independently and as a member of the team.\nAble to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.\nReliable attendance, punctuality and attention to workstation.\nMeet or exceed minimum test results as specified by the hiring manager.\nAccessibility\nSinalite is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible workplace in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
