We celebrateambition and back it with real opportunities to move up.\n\nSupercharge Your Development - Access to company-sponsored learningopportunities to expand your skills and broaden your professional horizons.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nEquipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting\nPerform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial printing and packaging equipment.\nDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identify root causes, and minimize equipment downtime.\nInspect, repair, and replace defective machine components to maintain optimal performance.\nRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.\nTechnical Support & Equipment Optimization\nAssist with the installation, setup, programming, and commissioning of production machinery.\nIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.\nSupport machine automation, PLC programming, IoT integration, and equipment upgrades.\nProvide technical guidance to operators on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.\nPreventative Maintenance & Facility Support\nExecute scheduled maintenance programs and maintain accurate equipment service records.\nCoordinate spare parts, materials, and supplies required for maintenance activities.\nPerform general mechanical and electrical repairs throughout the facility.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nHealth, Safety & Quality Compliance\nEnsure compliance with OHSA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures.\nSupport SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards within the manufacturing environment.\nCollaborate with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to maintain safe and efficient operations.\nQualifications\nPost-secondary education or apprenticeship training in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in printing or packaging manufacturing.\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance skills.\nAbility to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment specifications.\nExperience with industrial machinery, maintenance tools, and diagnostic equipment.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience maintaining offset printing presses, bindery, digital printing, or packaging equipment.\nKnowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, machine programming, and IoT systems.\nExperience with equipment installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nFamiliarity with SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards.\nAccessibility:\nSinalite is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible workplace in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
