You will help shape business decisions by bringing greater visibility and discipline to cash, working capital, manufacturing costs, margins, investments, and financial risk.\nSinaLite is an established wholesale printing business focused on protecting and expanding margins, while Willowpack is a rapidly growing packaging manufacturer requiring disciplined management of capital, working capital, and costs as it scales.\nWe're looking for a skeptical, analytical, and commercially minded finance leaderwho is comfortable challenging assumptions, getting into the details, developing a strong finance team, and giving leadership the financial clarity needed to make better decisions.\nFor the right individual, this role offers a clear opportunity to grow into a VP-level position within approximately two years.\nWhat You'll Be Responsible For\nCash, Liquidity & Working Capital\nBuild and own a rolling 13-week cash forecast and longer-term liquidity models.\nDevelop, measure, and report key working-capital metrics, including DPO, DIO, DSO, and the cash conversion cycle.\nPartner with Operations, Sourcing, and the Controller to improve inventory, receivables, and payables performance.\nModel the cash and working-capital impact of business growth and changing operating conditions.\nManage banking and lender relationships, credit facilities, and lease obligations.\nManufacturing Costing & Margin Management\nDevelop and maintain accurate job, product, and SKU-level costing across our manufacturing operations.\nEnsure costing accurately reflects materials, labour, yield, scrap, and other production costs.\nPartner with Sales to establish pricing guardrails, cost-based pricing floors, and margin expectations.\nProvide clear financial reporting that allows leadership to understand the economics and performance of SinaLite and Willowpackindependently.\nFP&A & Strategic Decision Support\nLead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.\nTranslate strategic objectives into measurable financial targets and forecasts.\nDevelop forward-looking, probability-weighted risk and opportunity assessments covering both profitability and cash.\nBuild financial business cases for capital expenditures, investments, and major strategic decisions.\nTrack investment performance and returns following implementation.\nProvide leadership with scenario modelling and data-driven recommendations to support major business decisions.\nCompliance, Controls & Government Funding\nOversee government funding opportunities, including applications, claims, compliance, and reporting.\nEnsure compliance with applicable Canadian and U.S. tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.\nStrengthen internal financial controls, policies, and procedures appropriate for a growing manufacturing organization.\nFinance Team Leadership\nAssess the existing finance structure and identify opportunities to strengthen capabilities.\nRecruit, coach, and develop finance and FP&A talent.\nEnsure team members are positioned effectively across controllership, treasury, and FP&A responsibilities.\nBuild greater financial accountability across the organization.\nHelp operational and functional leaders understand the financial impact of their decisions.\nSystems, Data & AI\nMaximize the value of NetSuiteand our broader financial reporting systems.\nIdentify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and financial analysis.\nUse AI, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve the speed and quality of financial insights.\nChampion a data-driven approach to decision-making throughout the organization.\nQualifications\nCPA designation required.\n10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior financial leadership within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong manufacturing cost accounting experience, including job/product costing, inventory, material yield, and scrap.\nProven experience managing cash and working capital through periods of rapid business growth.\nStrong FP&A, forecasting, scenario modelling, and financial modelling capabilities.\nExperience evaluating capital expenditures and developing investment business cases.\nDemonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing finance teams.\nExperience working within an entrepreneurial, privately held, or founder-led organization.\nExperience within printing, packaging, converting, or a related manufacturing industryis a strong asset.\nWhat We're Looking For\nThe right person for this role is someone who:\nChallenges assumptions- You don't accept a number simply because it was presented to you.
