These values are our foundation!\nDESCRIPTION\nWe are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our MailgunSend team. The MailgunSend team builds and maintains our customer-facing Mailgunand internal Admin applications, helping customers manage their email sending, configure domains, monitor delivery, and troubleshoot issues while giving internal teams the tools to support them.\nIn this role, you will build modern frontend experiences using React and TypeScript. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to make complex email workflows intuitive, deliver reliable features, and improve the applications our customers and internal teams use every day.\nYour Impact & Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript\n\nDevelop reusable and scalable UI components\n\nBuild data-heavy interfaces, including tables, filtering, reporting, and configuration forms\n\nIntegrate with backend APIs, managing asynchronous data, loading states, errors, and validation\n\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features that meet customer and business needs Improve application performance, usability, accessibility, and reliability\n\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting, including investigating production issues with backend and support teams\n\nContribute to technical discussions and improvements to development practices\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n2+ years of software engineering experience\n\nStrong experience with React and TypeScript\n\nExperience building single-page applications and reusable frontend components\n\nExperience consuming RESTful APIs and managing frontend state, asynchronous data fetching, and caching\n\nStrong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices\n\nExperience with frontend testing tools such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright\n\nFamiliarity with Git, code review, and CI/CD workflows\n\nStrong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills\n\nWho You Are\nYou are a frontend engineer with strong experience in React and TypeScript\n\nYou enjoy making complex workflows intuitive for customers and internal teams\n\nYou care about usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainable code\n\nYou collaborate well with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn ideas into working features\n\nYou ask thoughtful questions, clarify requirements, and work through ambiguity with your team\n\nYou are comfortable integrating APIs and building interfaces with forms, tables, and reporting\n\nYou take ownership of your work, from implementation and testing to troubleshooting issues in production\n\nYou communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates\n\nExperience working on SaaS products, internal tools, or administrative applications is a plus\n\nFamiliarity with data visualization, observability, or monitoring tools is a plus\n\nExperience with Go and/or Node.js is a plus\n\nThis is a remote opportunity, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO\nBenefits\nSTAY HEALTHY: We offer comprehensive market competitive medical, dental, and vision plans.
