These values are our foundation!\nThe Role\nOur Onboarding team owns how new customers sign up to Sinch and get verified (KYC). It is the very first experience every customer has with us, so it needs to be fast, simple, and secure.\nAs a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will design and deliver features end to end across our React frontend and Node.js backend. You will join a small Stockholm-based team alongside a Senior full-stack Tech Lead and a full-stack engineer, as we grow a permanent team that takes full ownership of the product. You will turn unclear requests into clear plans, make sound technical decisions, and help raise the bar for the team. You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Product, and cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role, working from our Stockholm office.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign and build features end to end, from React UI to Node.js and TypeScript services.\nDesign and build REST APIs and work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).\nWrite tests on both backend and frontend, and keep quality high through code reviews and CI/CD.\nTurn unclear requests into clear plans.\nMake good technical decisions and explain the trade-offs.\nSuggest a simpler option when a feature is not worth the cost.\nReduce production issues by finding root causes.\nTake ownership of the result, not only the code.\nImprove others through code reviews and mentoring.\nFollow a build-ship-run approach.\nWhat We Are Looking For\n7+ years of software development experience.\nExperience in Node.js and TypeScript.\nStrong skills building and designing REST APIs.\nGood knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).\nSolid skills in React (hooks, state management, component design).\nGood knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web performance basics.\nExperience writing tests on both backend and frontend.\nExperience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.\nAbility to design features end to end and explain your choices.\nAbility to work independently on large and unclear tasks.\nClear communication in English, written and spoken.\nWillingness to work hybrid from our Stockholm office.\nNice to have\nWorking experience with Java (Spring or Spring Boot).\nExperience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).\nExperience with Docker and a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools.\nKnowledge of security best practices.\nOUR HIRING PROCESS\nWe are committed to ensuring a recruitment process that is fair, objective, consistent, and inclusive.
