The candidate will be directly responsible for hands-on support of modern broadcast and IT equipment.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProvide support in the management of Servers, Network Security and Network Services\nPC/Mac hardware/software support of on-site installing, servicing and repairing workstations\nProvide support for the technical needs of the News Department\nAssist with video equipment set-up and maintenance\nAssist Engineering with Transmitter and Master Control maintenance\nAssist with LAN and WAN related hardware and software maintenance\nDevelop knowledge of facility specific IT needs and assist in supporting these systems\nApply regular security updates\nPerform physical inventory of equipment\nMaintain digital telephone system\nRequirements:\nAssociates degree or higher in IT, electronics or computer related field\nA great team-oriented attitude and dedication to quality\nStrong familiarity with Microsoft, Mac and Linux operating systems\nKnowledge and competency in core hardware and computer system technologies, including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and LAN/WAN networking\nProficiency in troubleshooting problems and responding quickly under pressure\nExcellent communication skills\nFamiliarity with Avid related software and hardware products a plus\nMust have driver's license with clean driving record\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment:\nMust be able to work a flexible schedule\nOn-call duty, including weekends and holidays\nAbility to lift computers and equipment generally less than 50 pounds\nEEO AND INCLUSIVITY:\nSinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
