In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day production of content for our website, app, and social media platforms. You will work with the entire newsroom team on multi-platform strategy and support day-of content and ongoing editorial initiatives.\nEssential Duties and Requirements:\nSolid news judgment and ability to collect and confirm information from primary sources\n\nAble to write compelling and accurate copy on deadline\n\nAble to multitask, juggle competing priorities, and manage time efficiently\n\nPossess strong communication skills\n\nAble to keep track and consistently execute digital strategies and goals\n\nCollaborative team-player willing to pitch in where needed\n\nProficiency with non-linear editing (i.e. Adobe, Premiere) and newsroom systems such as iNews\n\nUnderstanding of CMS tools, SEO guidelines for multiple platforms\n\nUnderstanding of how to use video and graphics to support content on all platforms\n\nExperience with newsgathering and logistics, booking interviews, and managing a content calendar\n\nExperience:\nAt least two (2) years of previous newsroom experience at a commercial TV station or digital news platform preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with content management systems, social media platforms, photo and video editing.\n\nBachelor's degree preferred, additional practical experience considered.\n\nSpanish fluency a plus.\n\nEEO AND INCLUSIVITY:\nSinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
