In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of drone communication and control system modules and related embedded electromechanical assemblies. You will work closely with system architects, electronics engineers, software engineers, manufacturing teams, and quality specialists to design robust, reliable, and producible solutions for demanding environments.\nResponsibilities\nDesign mechanical enclosures, structures, mounting solutions, and assemblies for drone communication and control system modules.\n\nDevelop 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.\n\nPerform mechanical analyses including thermal management, vibration resistance, shock tolerance, and structural integrity assessments.\n\nCollaborate with electronics, RF, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware integration.\n\nDesign products for manufacturability (DFM), assembly (DFA), serviceability, and cost optimization.\n\nSupport prototype builds, testing activities, and product validation.\n\nDefine and verify environmental and reliability requirements for products operating in demanding conditions.\n\nWork closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve design, production, and quality issues.\n\nConduct engineering investigations and root cause analyses related to product failures and reliability concerns.\n\nEnsure designs comply with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of mechanical design processes, standards, and best practices.\n\nSkills and Requirements\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\n\n7+ years of experience in mechanical design of electronic or embedded systems products.\n\nStrong proficiency with modern 3D CAD tools and drawing management practices.\n\nExperience designing size constrained products for volume manufacturing and assembly.\n\nKnowledge of materials, machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and assembly processes.\n\nUnderstanding of environmental qualification requirements, including thermal, vibration, shock, humidity, and ingress protection considerations.\n\nExperience in reliability engineering and product lifecycle considerations.\n\nFamiliarity with MIL-standard testing and qualification processes.\n\nAbility to create clear engineering documentation and technical specifications.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills in multidisciplinary engineering environments.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with drone, aerospace, defense, robotics, or autonomous systems products.\n\nKnowledge of electromechanical systems, actuators, sensors, and motion-control mechanisms.\n\nUnderstanding of electronics design, PCB design constraints, and electronic packaging.\n\nExperience with thermal simulation or other engineering analysis tools.\n\nFamiliarity with EMC/EMI-related mechanical design considerations.\n\nExperience working with ruggedized products designed for harsh environments.\n\nKnowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).\n\nExperience working with contract manufacturers and global supply chains.\n\nSecurity-aware product design experience for critical or mission-critical systems.\n\nWhat We Offer\nTime Off\nThe Employee is entitled to an annual holiday 4 + 1 weeks from the first day\nHealth & Wellness Benefits\nLunch Benefit: Daily lunch allowance up to the maximum tax-free limit.\nSport & Culture Benefit: Annual budget for gym memberships, sports activities, cultural events, and hobbies.\nWellbeing Allowance: Additional support for massages, mental health services, and other wellness-related activities.\nExtended Occupational Healthcare: Enhanced healthcare coverage, including partial dental care.\n24/7 Accident Insurance: Coverage during both work and personal time.\nBusiness Travel Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for all work-related travel.\nOffice Perks: Complimentary coffee, snacks, fruit, and other office amenities.\nWork Environment\nNo-Crunch Culture: No systematic overtime.
