Responsibilities: Lead the technical design and development of scalable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Own backend services end-to-end — architecture, design, development, deployment, and production support. Design and evolve REST APIs for internal teams and external partners. Participate in and contribute to system architecture and high-level technical design decisions. Design solutions for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability. Work on payment, reconciliation, ledger, transaction, and idempotency-related workflows. Work with Kafka/RabbitMQ and handle messaging, ordering, retries, and failure scenarios. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with strong root-cause analysis. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers. Collaborate with Product, QA, Business, and client teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
