The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud architecture, automation, security, and production support, along with the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and manage AWS cloud-based solutions across compute, storage, networking, security, and database services.\nImplement and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.\nEnsure high availability, performance, and scalability of applications, including database management (RDS - MySQL/Aurora).\nMonitor system health, performance, and uptime, ensuring minimal or zero downtime.\nImplement robust security practices and proactively mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.\nCollaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and streamline deployment processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, performance, and security-related issues in production environments.\nOptimize AWS cost and billing through efficient resource utilization and best practices.\nPlan and execute disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies.\nMaintain clear documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.\nParticipate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical incidents.\nContinuously evaluate new AWS services and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.\nKey Skills & Expertise\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, ALB, CloudFront, RDS (MySQL/Aurora), S3, VPC, IAM\nProficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu/CentOS)\nExperience with web servers: Apache, Nginx\nStrong understanding of PHP-based applications and performance tuning\nDatabase expertise in MySQL (performance tuning, replication, backups)\nFamiliarity with caching systems: Redis, Memcached\nSolid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, CDN, Load Balancing, SSL/TLS\nExperience with monitoring tools: CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes\nKnowledge of automation tools: Terraform or AWS CloudFormationScripting skills in Bash and/or Python\nExperience managing high-traffic production environments\nStrong understanding of autoscaling, failover, and high-availability architectures\nExperience in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis (RCA)\nKnowledge of cron jobs, background processes, and system scheduling\nExperience in domain, DNS, and SSL certificate management\nUnderstanding of AWS cost optimization techniques (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, rightsizing)\nExposure to containerization tools (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) is a plus\nAbility to work in a 24x7 support/on-call environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\nAWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities\nAbility to work effectively with
