As key contributors to our sales organization, Solution Engineers add tremendous value to the customer journey and directly impact company growth and revenue. \nIn this role, you will be responsible for identifying the technical requirements necessary to deliver business value for our Fortune 1,000 customers. Working in partnership with Enterprise Account Executives, you will help to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts. You will do this by leveraging your technical skill set and business acumen to understand complex solutions and create high-quality demos that resonate with our customers. \nRole and Responsibilities\nPartner with Prospects and Customers to understand their industries and strategies, and educate them on SingleStores strategy, technologies and vision. \nPartner with Account Executives to close new business (logos) and expand existing accounts\nPartner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing etc.) to share feedback on customer needs and requests \nDesign, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) with prospective customers \nDrive the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle, acting as the technical lead/subject matter expert (query tuning, load testing, etc.) \nWork to develop Channels and Partners for co-selling in the region. \nRequired Skills and Experience\nFluency in English and regional languages \nExperience with Gen AI, ML and Advanced Analytics \nExperience successfully selling enterprise database technologies, distributed systems, and similar products \nDeep understanding of distributed database technologies, including both analytic and transactional processing \nExpertise executing POCs, with experience designing and deploying complex technologies into existing customer environments \nIn-Depth understanding of data platforms, including various competitive products (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)\nExperienced in cloud and containerized environments, deployment and orchestration (including Linux and Kubernetes environments) \nProficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other programming languages \nAbility to travel within the region and internationally\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field \nSingleStore is a global database company that empowers the world’s leading organizations to build and scale cutting-edge AI applications on a unified data platform that supports real-time transactions, analytics, and search.
