A team that’s not just efficient, but also passionate, dedicated, and fun to work with.\nJob Title: SCM Associate Operator\n\nLocation: Bloomington\n\nPosition Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week. 1st Shift\n\nReports To: SCM Supervisor\nGeneral Description including Skills, Attitude, and Activity Requirements:\n\nSkills\nComputer experience necessary or willing to gain knowledge quickly. Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) a plus. Experience using ERP or inventory systems is not required, but very useful.\nMust be able to work within the FDA regulated environment per its specific requirements and those established by internal policy and standard operating procedures.\nMust learn to speak professionally and effectively with auditing agencies on procedures and work activities.\nEffectively work within the configuration and rule process set up within an ERP system and bar code scanning environment to accurately manage inventory throughout the business.\nPay great attention to detail and be very organized to all aspects of the position.\nObtain training on the aspects of logistics hired to perform and apply them consistently and efficiently. Obtain training in ancillary areas of other functions to assist as needed. (Accept deliveries, hand off shipments, load and unload trucks, transfer materials, inventory movements, operate forklifts/scissor lifts, etc.)\nShipping:\nPulling material from warehouse locations using Fork truck and scissor lift as needed\nShipping of daily client material via designated carrier\nManaging temperature sensitive materials appropriately\nObtain certificates according to IATA/DOT regulations for hazardous materials shipping.\nReceiving:\nPhysically receiving client material from delivery drivers and inspecting for damage\nElectronically receiving client material within the Singota ERP system and client inventory system (as applicable).\nManaging temperature sensitive materials appropriately\nWorking to keep any client material put in appropriate bin locations when necessary to keep staging areas clear\nAttitude\nWarehoused material must be treated with applicable caution per documented hazards and also with great care based on value.\nMust diligently practice all departmental programs and procedures per safety guidelines.\nPositive Attitude and willingness to work as part of a diverse team to achieve overall goals of supply chain group.\nMust be very customer focused to internal personnel.\nHandling RCRA regulated materials.\nActivities\nAbility to lift a minimum of 50lbs.\nAble to work in a 5°C (33°F) environment for periods of time.\nMust be willing to work off shift from time to time to accommodate increased or situational demand.\nPerform general housekeeping of warehouse (i.e. breaking down boxes, emptying trash, removing pallets from staging, clearing docks, etc.)\nPutting material away in warehouse using fork truck and scissor lift as needed\nRequirements\n1 year of experience in Life Sciences \nOR\n1 year in Supply Chain Management/Logistics\nComputer experience (Microsoft Office, ERP or Inventory Systems)\n· High\nSchool Diploma/GED\nBenefits\nDental insurance -
