This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys partnering with the business to deliver practical, risk-balanced legal solutions in a dynamic international environment.\nMake an Impact by\nDraft, review, negotiate, and provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, customer, partner, reseller, procurement, non-disclosure, and technology-related contracts.\nProvide legal support to the Partnership & Alliance, Cloud & Cybersecurity, and Network Security Services business units, with additional support for IoT initiatives when required.\nPartner closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice that balances business objectives with legal and regulatory requirements.\nConduct holistic legal reviews of commercial transactions, identifying legal, contractual, and commercial risks while protecting Singtel's interests.\nAdvise the business on compliance with Singtel's contract policies and governance requirements, including supporting the preparation of contract policy deviation papers where necessary.\nEnsure contracts and supporting documentation are maintained accurately within the company's contract management repository and comply with internal governance standards.\nBuild strong working relationships with regional legal teams, particularly colleagues based in Singapore, to ensure consistent legal support and knowledge sharing across the Group.\nSupport contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, and business partners, providing practical solutions to facilitate successful commercial outcomes.\nMonitor legal and contractual developments that may impact the business and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, contract templates, and governance practices to enhance operational efficiency and business support.\nSkills for Success\nBachelor's Degree in Law and admission to practice in Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, or Australia.\nMinimum 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as an in-house legal counsel reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MOUs, reseller, sales, and procurement agreements.\nMinimum 3 years of PQE gained with a reputable commercial law firm.\nExperience reviewing and negotiating technology, telecommunications, cloud, cybersecurity, or IT-related commercial contracts is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of enterprise technology solutions, including connectivity, cybersecurity, cloud services, mobility, or IoT, will be an advantage.\nStrong legal analytical skills with a solid understanding of commercial and contract law, combined with excellent attention to detail.\nExperience handling international commercial contracts and working with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.\nStrong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, practical business language.\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities and knowing when to escalate complex legal matters.\nExcellent written and spoken English, with strong time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
