Now, we are bringing this energy to Kuala Lumpur with the launch of our brand-new Shared Services Centre.\nWe are looking for a Network Engineer (JunOS Factory) to support the operations and maintenance of our IP VPN backbone network, ensuring high network availability, performance, and service reliability. In this role, you will contribute to network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, troubleshooting, and the deployment of new technologies while working closely with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver a resilient and high-performing network environment.\nMake an Impact by:\n1. Network Operations & Maintenance\nPerform operational support and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the stability and availability of the IP VPN backbone network. \nMonitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to improve network reliability, capacity, and efficiency. \nTroubleshoot and resolve faults within the MPLS/IP VPN environment to meet operational and service level objectives. \nPrepare and execute software and hardware upgrades as part of network lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives. \n2. Network Implementation & Infrastructure Support\nSupport network expansion projects, infrastructure upgrades, and the deployment of network equipment, software, monitoring, and management systems. \nWork closely with engineering teams to implement new products, network features, and node deployments while ensuring operational readiness. \nContribute to the successful implementation of network enhancements that improve service performance and operational efficiency. \n3. Service Delivery & Collaboration\nPrepare and maintain network performance reports, operational statistics, and technical documentation to support service management and operational reviews. \nCollaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation, operation, and support of IP network services. \nParticipate in maintenance activities and support timely restoration of services to minimise customer impact. \nSkills for Success\nDegree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. \nApproximately 5 years of experience in network operations, IP networking, or a similar role. \nGood understanding of networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS/IP VPN. \nKnowledge of router and switch architecture, software upgrades, and network maintenance practices. \nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. \nSelf-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. \nIt'll be great if you also have:\nHands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches. \nProfessional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIS. \nExperience supporting IP VPN networks for Tier 1 or Tier 2 service providers. \nExposure to network design and implementation activities. \nScripting knowledge (e.g. Shell, Perl, or Python) to support automation and operational efficiency. \nYour Career Growth Starts Here.
