Acting as a trusted adviser while maintaining audit independence, you will translate complex business, technology and operational risks into meaningful insights that support stronger decision-making, resilience and sustainable business performance.\nThe Day to Day\nDevelop and deliver the Internal Audit strategy and annual audit plan for an assigned portfolio, ensuring assurance coverage remains aligned to strategic objectives, emerging risks and enterprise priorities.\nBuild trusted relationships with accountable Executives and leadership teams, providing independent insight, constructive challenge and assurance over governance, risk management and internal control effectiveness.\nLead the delivery of complex audit and advisory engagements, ensuring audit work is evidence-based, strategically focused and delivers meaningful business, customer and risk outcomes.\nIdentify and assess emerging, systemic and cross-functional risks, translating business, operational, customer, regulatory and transformation insights into practical audit priorities and assurance responses.\nLead, coach and develop high-performing audit teams, driving excellence in audit quality, stakeholder engagement, professional judgement and continuous improvement across the Internal Audit function.\nWhat You Bring\nExtensive senior leadership experience in Internal Audit, Risk, Assurance, External Audit, Technology Risk or related disciplines within large, complex and highly regulated organisations.\nProven ability to develop risk-based assurance strategies, influence executive stakeholders and provide independent challenge across governance, risk management, transformation and control environments.\nStrong strategic thinking capability, with experience connecting business strategy, customer outcomes, operational risks and transformation initiatives to practical assurance priorities.\nExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical, operational and regulatory issues into concise and impactful insights for Executive and Board audiences.\nExperience gained within a Big 4 consulting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY or KPMG) in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, Technology Risk, Cyber Security, Governance, Assurance or Consulting leadership roles will be highly regarded.\nThe good stuff\nCompetitive remuneration and colleague discounts.
