You will be a technical leader within the team, driving engineering excellence, mentoring peers, and influencing architectural decisions while remaining deeply involved in coding, solution design, and delivery.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade GoLang applications and integration services across the full software development lifecycle.\n\nBuild scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions using GoLang, ensuring high performance, reliability, maintainability, and security.\n\nLead technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering decisions while mentoring engineers and championing modern software development best practices.\n\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust solutions that solve complex business and operational challenges.\n\nWhat You Bring\n7-8 years of strong commercial experience developing and deploying GoLang applications, with the ability to demonstrate end-to-end ownership of solutions delivered into production environments.\n\nDeep expertise in GoLang development, including APIs, microservices, concurrent processing, design patterns, performance optimisation, testing, and code quality practices.\n\nExperience working with REST APIs, Kafka, event-driven architectures, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to mentor others, influence technical direction, and thrive in a complex enterprise technology environment.\n\nThe good stuff….\nCompetitive remuneration and employee discounts.
