By aligning platform roadmaps with Optus’ strategic objectives, you will ensure our network is high-performing, resilient, and future-ready, keeping us ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop and design technology solutions within the Mobile Core Signalling domain, ensuring alignment with both Networks target architecture and business needs.\nLead the technical evolution of your domain by defining future-state architecture, roadmaps, and scalable development guidelines to inform team decision-making.\nCreate platform documentation covering system integration, data flows, and interfaces to OSS/BSS and Upstream IT systems.\nOwn the signalling platform lifecycle from design to implementation, drive platform roadmaps and upgrades and ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, assess their application within the domain, and collaborate with vendors to drive innovation and competitive advantage.\nEnsure all solutions comply with Optus and industry standards, including ICT, information, and cyber security strategies.\nWhat You Bring\nSubject-matter expertise in the Mobile Core Signalling domain \nStrong technical proficiency and a solid grasp of relevant platforms, tools, architectural principles, and best practices.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and solutions.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders, platform owners, and product engineering managers.\nDemonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to provide strategic consultancy, mentor technical teams, and secure buy-in across the organisation.\nExperience driving commercial and operational alignment, including mapping corporate finance forecasts, supplying service costings, and maintaining product roadmaps.\nThe good stuff…\nCompetitive remuneration and employee discounts.
