Our Manufacturing facility is in Sorrento Valley.\nPosition Summary:\nAs a Business Development Executive, you will lead commercial expansion across the West Coast territory of the United States, consisting of California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. This is a sales role focused on driving new customer acquisition, cultivating strategic accounts, and accelerating the adoption of Singular’s spatial multiomics service offerings.\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the West Coast territory.\nBuild and manage relationships with key stakeholders in major academic translational research centers, biopharma, and multicenter spatial biology programs\nNavigate complex sales cycles involving scientific, technical, and procurement stakeholders.\nDeliver compelling value propositions aligned to customer workflows and research priorities.\nManage forecasting, territory planning, and CRM tracking.\nWork cross functionally with field applications, marketing, and executive teams to drive spatial multiomic service projects\nRepresent the company at key regional meetings, trade shows, and networking events.\nRequired Qualifications:\n5-10+ years of experience in spatial biology, life science tools, genomics, or translational research sales.\nProven success in closing high-value deals with pharma, biotech, or academic medical centers.\nStrong technical acumen in genomics, spatial biology, and single-cell analysis.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence.\nAbility to travel 30-50%.\nBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) in a related field\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience selling novel platforms or disruptive life science technologies\nEstablished network across West Coast translational and clinical research sites\nFamiliarity with spatial multiomics, immuno-oncology, cell therapy and biomarker discovery markets.\nThe estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $140,000 - $165,800. Additionally, this role is eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and may receive equity as part of the compensation package. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
