You'll touch the full accounting cycle - from transaction processing through financial analysis - and your work will directly support leadership, board, and investor reporting as well as our government contract billing and compliance.\nThis role suits someone who is hands-on, detail-driven, and comfortable building process where little exists yet.\nResponsibilities\nManage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and routine bookkeeping.\nReconcile bank accounts and general ledger records, investigate discrepancies, and resolve them promptly.\nSupport month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis.\nProduce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support leadership planning, board reporting, and investor updates.\nGather and organize documentation for tax filings and support the external tax preparation process.\nHelp develop budgets by compiling financial data and partnering with management on planning.\nConduct internal reviews of accounting records and processes, and recommend improvements that strengthen controls and efficiency.\nHelp maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations and stay current on relevant accounting standards.\nSupport further development of ERP and accounts systems.\nQualifications\n2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience across AP, AR, reconciliations, and close.
