With a world-class business development and leadership team already in place, we are well positioned to capitalize on already overwhelming demand.\nAs a Systems Engineer, you'll drive how our flight vehicle holds together as a system: its subsystems, the interfaces between them, and the evidence that it all works in the environments it has to survive. You'll decompose mission needs into subsystem requirements, define and control interfaces across hardware, software, and electrical domains, and lead the path to verification through bench, environmental, and flight test. You'll work alongside GNC, flight software, avionics, propulsion, structures, and test, and you'll be hands-on in the lab and on the range. If you've taken hardware from concept through qualification and flight, and you want to do it on a system that must work the first time while establishing the appropriate layers of process, this is your chance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop system architecture and derive, allocate, and maintain subsystem requirements across avionics, propulsion, structures, power, GNC, and flight software \nMaintain interface control documents (ICDs) for mechanical, electrical, data, and software interfaces, both internally and with suppliers, partners, and customers \nBuild and maintain the system model, keeping requirements, interfaces, and verification traceable \nPlan and support environmental qualification and acceptance testing: vibration, shock, thermal, thermal vacuum, altitude, humidity, and EMI/EMC, per MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or program-tailored standards \nWrite test plans and procedures for critical subsystems, and support vehicle-level integration and acceptance testing \nOwn verification and validation, making sure every requirement has a clear method (test, analysis, inspection, demonstration) and a path to closure \nSupport day-to-day technical work across design, software, and test teams, resolving interface conflicts and cross-subsystem issues as they arise \nSupport test data analysis, anomaly resolution, and failure investigations to find root cause and drive corrective actions \nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a STEM field \n4+ years of engineering experience, with significant time in systems engineering on flight vehicles, missiles, or comparable complex systems \nHands-on experience with requirements development and management, interface definition (ICDs), and verification across hardware and software \nDirect experience planning or executing environmental qualification or acceptance testing \nWorking knowledge across mechanical, electrical, software, and controls disciplines \nAbility to travel for test campaigns \nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance \nPreferred Qualifications:\nM.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, math, or physics \nExperience taking a flight vehicle or subsystem through qualification and flight test \nFamiliarity with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1540/SMC-S-016, or similar test standards \nUnderstanding of aerodynamics, avionics, GNC, and flight systems \nProficiency in Python with exposure to C/C++ as a bonus \nFamiliarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration
