With a world-class business development & leadership team already in place, we are well positioned to capitalize on already overwhelming demand.\n Role Overview:\nThe Contracts Manager owns contract formation, negotiation support, contractual risk management, and post-award contract administration across domestic and international defense opportunities. This role enables the company to move quickly while ensuring that contractual commitments, customer flowdowns, intellectual-property positions, payment structures, and compliance obligations are understood before the company commits.\nThe Contracts Manager owns the contractual relationship and obligations. The role does not own proposal production, pricing-model development, bookkeeping, or routine financial-system administration.\nCore Responsibilities\nReview, negotiate, administer, and maintain customer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, purchase terms, and related contractual instruments. \nLead review of contract type, terms and conditions, representations, warranties, indemnities, limitations of liability, termination provisions, delivery requirements, acceptance criteria, and payment terms. \nEvaluate FAR/DFARS clauses, customer flowdowns, data rights, intellectual property provisions, export-sensitive provisions, and subcontract requirements. \nSupport BD and Proposal teams during solicitations by identifying contractual requirements, exceptions, risks, and required representations. \nCoordinate with Pricing and Finance on contract structures that affect margin, billing triggers, milestone payments, funded value, cash timing, working capital, and financial exposure. \nCoordinate with Security and Compliance on CUI, CMMC, DD254s, export controls, facility-clearance requirements, and customer-specific compliance obligations. \nMaintain executed agreements, modifications, contractual deliverables, notice requirements, option dates, funding limits, periods of performance, and other contractual obligations. \nSupport contract modifications, change orders, claims, equitable-adjustment requests, closeout, and other post-award actions as applicable. \nEstablish scalable contract-review, approval, delegation-of-authority, and records-management processes. \nEscalate material contractual, financial, IP, delivery, compliance, or operational risks before commitments are made.\nIdeal Background\n7-12 years in defense contracts, government contracting, program contracts, legal operations, subcontract administration, or related work. \nStrong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, OTAs, CSOs, fixed-price and cost-type structures, data rights, flowdowns, and government-contract administration. \nExperience negotiating and administering contracts involving hardware, manufacturing, R&D, prototypes, or defense technology strongly preferred. \nExperience working directly with BD, Finance, Programs, Legal, Engineering, and Supply Chain. \nStrong commercial judgment and ability to distinguish material contractual risk from issues that can be resolved pragmatically. \nJD or legal background helpful but not required.\nCompensation:\nSalary: $125000- $185000 + Equity + Benefits ( Healthcare, Vision, Dental, 401k, and Lunch)","description_format":"text","description_chars":3565,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Equity"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Military","Air Defense","Defense Manufacturing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T20:51:43Z"}],"liveness":{"score":24,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.429,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":43,"expected_fill_days":31,"reasons":["conf:7","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-09-26T04:03:08Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":185000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/singularity-senior-contracts-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/singularity-senior-contracts-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-26T04:03:08Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4386,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":614,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-27T00:00:00Z"}}}
