With a world-class business development & leadership team already in place, we are well positioned to capitalize on already overwhelming demand.\nRole Overview:\nAs an electrical engineer you will own the design, manufacturing, and integration of the electronics that power our next-generation ground support equipment for air defense platforms. You will have an opportunity for significant system ownership and to be a key contributor to design and architecture.\nYou’ll work closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver the best in-class electronic systems. If you want to build complex hardware on systems that matter-this role is for you.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn the design and manufacturing processes for custom harnesses for vehicle platforms.\nSupport design of embedded vehicle systems including power, compute, sensing, actuation, and communication subsystems\nAct as the primary point of contact for any manufacturing issues on electrical assemblies\nDetermine layer stackup, perform component package selection, component placement, routing feasibility studies, and signal routing of digital, analog, RF, and power conversion of printed circuit boards (PCB)\nCreate and release documentation for fabrication of PCBs\nOwn schematic design, component selection, PCB layout, and design review\nManage board-level bring-up, debugging, and validation in lab and field test environments\nGuide board-level manufacturing, testing, and assembly processes (both in-house and external vendors)\nEstablish test procedures for validation, environmental, and EMC/ESD qualification\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.\nStrong experience with Altium Designer or similar CAD system (KICAD, EAGLE, CADENCE)\nExperienced with High-speed digital electronics, embedded microcontrollers, RF components, power electronics, digital buses (CAN, SPI, UART, I2C), sensor integration\n5+ years of experience designing, building, and testing electronics for aerospace, defense, robotics, or automotive systems\nProficiency in schematic capture, layout (Altium), and board-level signal and power integrity design\nFamiliarity with environmental design constraints including thermal, EMI/EMC, shock, and vibration\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree or equivalent experience in avionics or high-reliability hardware systems\nProven experience delivering complex, multi-board avionics or embedded systems from concept to production\nFamiliarity with Military standards for system design and qualification\nExperience in design-for-manufacture and supply chain planning for high-mix, low-volume aerospace production\nExperience with rapid prototyping, in-house assembly, and validation test campaign. \nPrior work in systems where the hardware must survive extreme environments (missiles, launch vehicles, hypersonic systems, satellites)\nItar\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\nCompensation:\nSalary: $ 160000- $200000+Equity + Benefits ( Healthcare, Vision, Dental, 401k, and Lunch)","description_format":"text","description_chars":3657,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Equity"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Military","Air Defense","Defense Manufacturing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T20:51:43Z"}],"liveness":{"score":24,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.429,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":37,"expected_fill_days":31,"reasons":["conf:6","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-09-26T03:19:28Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":200000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/singularity-senior-electrical-engineer-ground-systems","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/singularity-senior-electrical-engineer-ground-systems.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-26T03:19:28Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3548,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1452,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-27T00:00:00Z"}}}
