Within the production environment, quality, food safety, efficiency and teamwork are central.\nYou will work in a professional production facility where operators play an important role in keeping the packaging process running safely, efficiently and according to plan.\nAbout the position\nAs an allround Operator, you are responsible for the smooth operation of the packaging lines. You will operate and adjust the machinery, perform changeovers and keep a close eye on the production process.\nYou will also be expected to identify and resolve minor technical issues yourself and involve the technical team when a problem requires further support.\nThis is a hands-on production role for someone who enjoys working with machinery, taking responsibility and working as part of a team.\nThe position is based in Katwijk and operates in a 3-shift system.\nResponsibilities\nOperate, adjust and monitor packaging and palletising equipment.\n\nCarry out machine changeovers and prepare lines for different products or packaging formats.\n\nMonitor production performance and intervene when deviations occur.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve minor technical malfunctions.\n\nWork closely with the technical department when more complex faults occur.\n\nPerform quality, safety and food-safety checks during production.\n\nEnsure products are correctly packed and prepared for shipment.\n\nCoordinate day-to-day activities with packing employees and assistant operators.\n\nFollow production planning and contribute to achieving daily targets.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe and organised production environment.\n\nCommunicate clearly during shift handovers and report relevant production issues.\n\nRequirements\nLBO/MBO working and thinking level.\n\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience in a production, packaging or operator environment.\n\nExperience operating production or packaging machinery.\n\nComfortable troubleshooting minor technical problems.\n\nWilling and able to work in a 3-shift system.\n\nKnowledge of HACCP and food safety.\n\nAwareness of allergen management and Food Defense principles.\n\nStrong focus on safety, quality and hygiene.\n\nReliable, practical and comfortable working in a team.\n\nWillingness to learn through on-the-job training.\n\nAre you an experienced production or packaging operator looking for your next opportunity in the food industry?
