You will take ownership of part of the organisation’s ocean and air freight procurement portfolio, working with international suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role combines strategic procurement with hands-on commercial and operational responsibilities. You’ll be involved in tenders, supplier negotiations, contracts, cost optimisation and performance management - while helping the business navigate a highly volatile global freight market. freight.\nResponsibilities\nManage ocean and air freight procurement activities, including regular tender processes.\nOwn relationships with a portfolio of international logistics and freight suppliers.\nSupport the implementation of global and regional procurement strategies.\nLead or coordinate supplier negotiations, contracting and commercial discussions.\nMonitor market developments and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.\nWork with suppliers on performance, service levels and continuous improvement.\nContribute to sustainability initiatives, including emissions reduction and alternative fuel solutions.\nSupport allocation decisions and larger-scale procurement negotiations.\nHelp strengthen supply chain resilience and manage risks across the freight portfolio.\nWork closely with procurement, logistics and other internal stakeholders across regions.\nMaintain accurate procurement data, documentation and supplier information.\nContribute to cross-regional procurement projects and digital procurement initiatives.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, ocean freight, air freight, transportation or logistics.\nRequired Skills\nStrong understanding of ocean freight and international transportation.\nExperience with tendering, supplier management and commercial negotiations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced MS Excel skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nFluent English, both written and spoken.\nComfortable working in an international and fast-moving environment.\nPreferred Skills\nSAP experience.\nExperience with Coupa or other procurement/tendering platforms.\nAdditional languages.\nExperience with sustainability, responsible sourcing or procurement
