You will create and maintain trusted data sources, reports, and dashboards for key stakeholders across the organization. You will help evolve SiriusPoint's BI practice from traditional reporting to AI-driven decision intelligence, helping design, build, and govern enterprise analytical datasets, semantic models, and business ontologies that enable scalable self-service analytics and support AI use cases. Leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and emerging AI capabilities, you will turn enterprise data into business-ready data products. You will report to the AVP of Business Intelligence.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nData Acquisition and Management:\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and understand business needs and translate them into actionable data requests.\nExtract and transform data from various insurance-specific sources (policy systems, claims databases, and market research) using AWS Redshift and ETL tools.\nEnsure data quality and integrity through data cleansing, validation, and standardization.\nEnterprise Analytical Data Products:\nDesign and develop curated analytical datasets and data products that support enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, and AI consumption.\nConstruct scalable semantic gold-layer datasets from enterprise data platforms.\nDefine business-friendly data structures that abstract technical complexity from business users.\nHelp evolve the practice from static report production toward AI-augmented insight, such as automated anomaly detection, forecasting, and plain-language explanation of results.\nEnforce review and validation standards for AI-assisted development and AI-generated insights so that outputs remain accurate, explainable, and auditable.\nStrategic Initiatives:\nParticipate in cross-functional projects to leverage data for strategic initiatives, such as product development, pricing optimization, and claims management.\nPartner with IT to support data infrastructure enhancements and develop new data solutions.\nStay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the insurance and data analytics landscape.\nDrive adoption of data literacy initiatives across the organization to strengthen SiriusPoint’s data culture.\nYour skills and abilities should include:\n3+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, Accident & Health insurance, and reinsurance is a plus.\nStrong capabilities in Redshift and SQL, and experience working with the latest business intelligence tools and technologies.\nSupport existing reporting and analytic assets.\nCreate data sources that support self-service reporting and analytics, founded on key design principles and a strong focus on user experience.\nUnderstanding of semantic layers and knowledge graphs/ontologies as the foundation for AI.\nComfort with cloud-based technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.\nExcellent organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nExcellent critical thinking and analytical abilities, particularly in developing a conceptual understanding of new topics for yourself and others.\nAbility to work individually with limited oversight.\nAbility to prioritize, multitask, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.\nDemonstrated ability to influence and work effectively within a global organization with employees at all levels.\nMotivated and team-oriented, with strong problem-solving and project management skills.\nWe aim to retain and attract great people, knowing they can achieve a rewarding and enriching career.
