Our projects range from short engagements to multi-year collaborations on turnkey products.\n\nAs we believe that our employees are our greatest asset, we provide them with a collaborative environment and full support for their career and personal growth.\n\nAbout the role\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.\n\nYou will design, operate and improve complex AWS and Microsoft Azure environments, with a strong focus on automation, security, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.\n\nThe role includes ownership of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, participation in architecture decisions and close cooperation with development, QA, security and infrastructure teams.\n\nYour responsibilities\n\nDesign, build and maintain infrastructure across AWS and Azure\n\nTake ownership of production environments and critical deployment processes\n\nDesign and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines\n\nBuild and support Docker and Kubernetes-based environments\n\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and operational activities\n\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, cloud, network and deployment issues\n\nPerform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements\n\nImprove monitoring, observability, security and reliability\n\nPlan and implement cloud cost optimization strategies\n\nReview infrastructure and automation changes\n\nParticipate in architecture discussions and mentor less experienced engineers\n\nRole’s requirements\n\nStrong practical experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure\n\nGood understanding of cloud networking, IAM/RBAC, compute, storage, monitoring, backup, security and high availability\n\nStrong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform\n\nExperience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools\n\nStrong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo or similar\n\nStrong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell and/or Python\n\nStrong Docker knowledge and practical experience with Kubernetes\n\nAdvanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills\n\nGood understanding of DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN, load balancing, reverse proxies and TLS\n\nGood understanding of DevSecOps, secrets management, backup, disaster recovery and incident management\n\nAbility to independently solve complex technical problems and take ownership from design to production\n\nAdvantages:\n\nAWS and/or Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305 or AWS Solutions Architect\n\nCKA/CKAD certification\n\nExperience with AKS and EKS\n\nExperience with ArgoCD and Istio\n\nExperience with Helm and GitOps practices\n\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch or Datadog\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or MSSQL\n\nExperience with HashiCorp Vault or similar products\n\nISO 27001 / SOC 2 experience\n\nExperience with cloud architecture, FinOps and disaster recovery\n\nWhy Join Sirma? \n\nLearn from the Best\n\nWork alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, collaborate with international experts, and be part of a culture where knowledge sharing is part of everyday life.\n\nBuild What Matters\n\nTake on challenging projects, solve real business problems, and work with cutting-edge technologies that drive innovation across industries.\n\nFlexibility That Works for You\n\nStart your day between 8:00 and 10:00, depending on your team’s schedule.
