Responsible for a broad range of general ledger accounts, systems, processes, and are subject matter experts on key functions performed in the role.\nFUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n30%\nSupport efforts to bring analysis, account balance documentation, and systems up to date to remediate lapses in processes performed in the finance organization in Brazil. Perform adhoc analysis and lead special accounting and analytical projects at the request of the CAO.\n20%\nPerforms calculations, prepares journal entries and completes related financial analysis for the month end financial close for Brazil to ensure conformance with US GAAP. Record stat Trial Balance into SIRVA consolidated financial system. \n25%\nDocument key processes and controls in the finance organization and recommend changes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance. Analyze systems used in Brazil and recommend improvements in systems usage and identify areas for automation.\n20%\nIs responsible for internal and external reporting of key metrics for the Americas business units.
