This role ensures the availability, security, and performance of systems while providing technical support, troubleshooting incidents, managing upgrades, and implementing best practices.\nThe System Administrator works closely with internal teams to support business operations, maintain system reliability, and deliver infrastructure improvements.\nIn this role, you will:\nAdminister and maintain Windows Server environments.\nMonitor server performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.\nManage virtualized environments using VMware vCenter.\nPerform server provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning.\nApply operating system and application patches in accordance with security policies.\nMaintain hardware, storage, and backup systems.\nActive Directory & Microsoft 365 Administration\nManage Active Directory users, groups, organizational units (OUs), and Group Policies (GPOs).\nAdminister Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.\nSupport Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.\nImplement and maintain role-based access controls and security permissions.\nSupport vulnerability remediation and security patch management.\nMonitor and maintain endpoint protection, antivirus, and multi-factor authentication solutions.\nAssist in maintaining compliance with organizational IT security standards.\nParticipate in security audits and system reviews.\nMonitoring & Incident Management\nMonitor infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools.\nRespond to incidents, service requests, and system alerts.\nPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure and application issues.\nDocument incidents, resolutions, and preventive actions within ITSM tools.\nSupport infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.\nCollaborate with network, security, and application support teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.\nParticipate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities.\nParticipate in an on-call support rotation to provide after-hours support when required.\nSupport planned maintenance activities outside of regular business hours.\nGROW WITH INTENTION\nWhat You’ll Bring\n3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, or similar role.\nExperience supporting Windows Server environments in a corporate setting.\nHands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.\nExperience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.\nExperience with VMware virtualization technologies.\nFamiliarity with server patching, monitoring tools, and backup solutions.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and common services such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and SMTP.\nExperience troubleshooting server, application, and infrastructure-related issues.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nLIVE THE SIRVA LIFE\nBelong at Sirva\nAt Sirva, we are committed to creating an environment where employees can thrive professionally and personally.
