This role is suitable for freshers and candidates with 0 - 2 years of experience who have an academic or professional background in Law, Cyber Law, Cybersecurity or Information Security. The candidate will work with experienced consultants to support privacy assessments, regulatory research, risk assessments, documentation and compliance activities. Knowledge of Cyber Law and Cybersecurity will be an added advantage.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport Data Privacy and Data Protection assessments, including Privacy Gap Assessments, against applicable laws and regulations.\nAssist with PIA, DPIA, RoPA and Data Flow Mapping activities.\nSupport review of privacy policies, procedures, privacy notices, consent, data retention and data subject rights.\nResearch applicable regulations including DPDP Act, GDPR, PDPA and other relevant requirements.\nSupport the team in understanding Cyber Law, Cybersecurity and Information Security requirements and emerging cyber risks.\nAssist in mapping legal and regulatory requirements to applicable privacy and cybersecurity controls.\nSupport review of basic cybersecurity controls relating to access management, data security, encryption, vulnerability and incident management.\nSupport privacy and compliance assessments, including collection and review of client information, documents and audit evidence.\nSupport consultants in client engagements, meetings and information-gathering sessions.\nAssist in preparing assessment reports, compliance checklists, trackers, presentations and other supporting documentation.\nQualifications:\nIntegrated B.Tech + LLB, Bachelor’s degree in Law, Cyber Law, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.\nCandidates with a combination of Law and Cybersecurity / Information Security background will be an advantage.\nRelevant internships, academic projects or training in Data Privacy, Cyber Law, Cybersecurity, IT GRC or Compliance will be preferred.\nWork Experience:\nFreshers and candidates with 0-2 years of experience in Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Cyber Law, IT GRC, IT Audit, Risk or Compliance.\nGood understanding of data privacy principles and regulatory requirements.\nAbility to read and understand laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines.\nBasic understanding of Cyber Law, Cybersecurity and Information Security concepts.\nUnderstanding of the relationship between legal requirements, privacy obligations and cybersecurity controls.\nGood research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to prepare clear documentation and reports.\nWillingness to learn and develop expertise in Data Privacy, Cybersecurity and GRC.\nCyber Law and Cybersecurity knowledge will be an added advantage.\nExposure to DPDP Act, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or ISO 27701 will be preferred.\nAttention to detail and ability to work with documentation and assessment evidence.\nAbility to manage assigned tasks and complete deliverables within timelines.\nIndustry Certification will be an be plus: DCPP, CIPP, AIGP, ISO 27001, Security+, CEH, CCNA or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.\nTools Exposure: Exposure to Data Privacy or GRC tools such as OneTrust, BigID, TrustArc or similar platforms will be an advantage.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3427,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Cybersecurity","Information Security"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T23:37:36Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":4,"expected_fill_days":49,"reasons":["conf:11","velocity","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-09-27T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":12578,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/sisa-data-privacy-trainee","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/sisa-data-privacy-trainee.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T02:33:18Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1273,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3727,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
