The journey starts here, with you at SITA.\nABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:\nWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Apprentice Technician in the IT industry. As an Apprentice Technician, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware systems. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with a passion for technology and a desire to kick-start their career in the field.\nIn this role, you will work closely with experienced technicians and be exposed to a wide range of computer hardware components and systems. You will provide support and assistance in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, as well as participate in the installation and configuration of computer hardware/Software.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nAssist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues\nPerform routine maintenance and repairs on computer systems, including replacing faulty components\nInstall, configure, and test computer hardware components and peripherals\nAssist in the monitoring and maintenance of network security systems.\nTroubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.\nAssist in the installation of computer networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls.\nProvide technical support to end-users in a timely and efficient manner\nCollaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of SITA systems\nKeep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inventory\nStay updated with the latest advancements in computer hardware technology and industry trend\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE:\nDiploma, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field equivalent.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills\nBasic knowledge of computer hardware components and systems\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nBasic knowledge of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.\nShould be flexible to work evenings or weekends as required.\nThis role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts.\nAbility to stay composed and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.\nMust be able to adapt quickly to new processes, tools, and technologies.\n\n Having valid Indian passport will be an advantage.\nSITA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
