Here, we feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow.\nAre you ready to love your job?\nThe adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.\nABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM\nThe Lead Engineer (LE) serves as a principal technical leader within customer projects, overseeing the deployment and transition of technical solutions to address client requirements. Acting as a bridge between high-level architectural design and hands-on delivery, the LE ensures that solutions are practical, scalable, cost-efficient, and aligned with both organizational objectives and specific customer demands.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nOwn all infrastructure and technical activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring consistent delivery.\nAct as the main contact for customer technical teams and, with the Project Manager, present the full solution architecture to the customer.\nSupport the Bid team on technical designs: review Target Design Documents, anticipate on-premises and central provisioning, and contribute to Technical Impact Analysis (TIA).\nWork with Implementation Engineers to produce accurate delivery effort estimates.\nDefine and run release management, including deployment readiness, environment validation, rollback planning and post-deployment checks.\nLead capacity planning and performance tuning across platforms and infrastructure for scalability, stability and efficient resource use.\nReplace repetitive manual work with scripting, workflow automation and standard engineering practices, and define requirements for automating provisioning.\nAct as liaison to Engineering Managers on custom developments and product issues, raising and qualifying Requests for Action (RFAs).\nRun the Change Request process with clear business justification and technical scoping.\nLead structured troubleshooting and coach the team through technical plans, knowledge sharing and cross-training.\nQualifications\nABOUT YOUR SKILLS\n8+ years deploying or supporting application software, with several full-lifecycle implementations.\nBachelor’s degree (B.Tech or B.E.) in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent; a professional qualification is a plus.\nStrong Linux system administration.\nHands-on experience with load balancers and DNS.\nExperience with application web servers.\nScripting and automation skills for deployment and provisioning.\nSolid release, change and risk management practices.\nSystems thinking, with the ability to see how complex architectures fit together.\nClear technical writing and the ability to explain complex topics to customers and non-technical stakeholders.\nCustomer focus, coaching and conflict management skills, and willingness to travel.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nWe’re all about diversity.
