Here, we feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow.\nAre you ready to love your job?\nThe adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.\nABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM\nWe are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to provide technical leadership across the design, development, delivery and support of enterprise digital solutions.\nThe role requires someone who can think beyond individual applications, understand the end-to-end solution, and work across development, architecture, QA, DevOps, infrastructure and support teams.\nWe are looking for a Lead Developer who thinks beyond the code - someone who considers the complete journey from:\nUser → Application → API → Integration → Database → Infrastructure → Production → Support\nand takes ownership of delivering solutions that are reliable, secure, maintainable and production-ready.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nProvide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to development teams. \nDesign and develop scalable, secure and maintainable enterprise solutions. \nUnderstand and troubleshoot systems end-to-end, from application and APIs through to databases, infrastructure and production. \nLead technical design, code reviews and engineering best practices. \nSupport production incidents, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. \nWork closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring and operational readiness. \nIdentify technical risks, dependencies and performance/reliability considerations early. \nEnsure solutions provide a good overall user and customer experience. \nCommunicate technical solutions and issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nPromote effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development, testing, troubleshooting and documentation.\nQualifications\nABOUT YOUR SKILLS\nStrong experience in enterprise software development using Java/Spring Boot and/or C#/.NET, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable applications\nStrong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, databases and distributed systems, with the ability to work across the full technology stack\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud technologies, with Microsoft Azure experience being an advantage\nGood knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC and Keycloak, including authentication, authorization and identity management\nExperience working with API gateways, messaging, monitoring, logging and observability in distributed environments\nProven experience supporting live production systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues and identifying root causes\nStrong systems thinking and end-to-end ownership, with a proactive approach to understanding how systems work and how different components interact\nStrong problem-solving, leadership, mentoring and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nPragmatic approach to balancing technical quality, reliability and business needs, while taking ownership of delivering practical solutions\nCurious and proactive mindset with a willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies, including AI, automation and modern coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot\nWHAT WE OFFER\nWe’re all about diversity.
