The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive software delivery using modern development practices.\nThe role requires deep expertise in the Java ecosystem and / or Microsoft .NET ecosystem, combined with experience in cloud/on-prem technologies, microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, DevOps, and Agile delivery.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nSoftware Design & Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and backend services using Either or Both: .NET: C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs; Java: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs.\nBuild secure, high-performance RESTful APIs that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.\nWorks with portfolio architect for driving high-level architectural discussions and alignment of technical guiderails.\nDevelop solutions using microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectures.\nIntegrate enterprise systems and third-party services through API-led connectivity patterns.\nSupport end-to-end feature delivery across UI, API, middleware, and database layers.\nTechnical Leadership\nLead development teams through technical guidance, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices.\nConduct code reviews and ensures adherence to coding standards, security policies, and quality requirements.\nMentor and coach engineers build technical excellence across the team.\nDrive adoption of reusable frameworks, patterns, and modern development methodologies.\nCloud & DevOps\nWork with Infrastructure team for design reviews and best practices\nDesign and deploy applications on cloud platforms using Azure services.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.\nManage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.\nImplement Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.\nIntegration & Event-Driven Solutions\nDesign and implement asynchronous and event-driven solutions using messaging technologies.\nEnable real-time and near real-time communication between distributed services.\nContribute to service reliability, resiliency, observability, and monitoring.\nSecurity & Performance\nCreates and manages security documents (Threat Model) and collaborates with Security experts\nImplement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD).\nEnsure compliance with enterprise security standards and secure coding practices.\nOptimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, and database tuning.\nDesign systems for high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.\nCollaboration & Delivery\nWork closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Managers, and relevant stakeholders to deliver business value.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.\nInvestigate and resolve complex production issues related to distributed systems, APIs, and integrations.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams\nQualifications\nABOUT YOUR SKILLS\n.NET Stream\nC#, .NET 8/10, ASP.NET Core\nWeb APIs, Entity Framework\nAngular, WPF, Xamarin/.NET MAUI (preferred)\nJava Stream\nJava 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud\nHibernate/JPA\nAngular, React or modern front-end frameworks (preferred)\nMessaging & Integration\nAzure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent messaging platforms.\nEnterprise integration and API management.\nNICE TO HAVE\nAKS (eg. Azure Kubernetes Service)\nNGINX\nGeospatial technologies (eg. GeoJSON, H3, Geofencing)\nObservability tools (App Insights, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus)\nAI-assisted development tools and developer productivity platforms\nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.\nMinimum 8+ years of software development experience.\nAt least 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead developer role.\nProven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications using either .NET or Java technologies.\nStrong experience with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.\nExperience working in global Agile development teams.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nWe’re all about diversity.
