Here, we feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow.\nAre you ready to love your job?\nThe adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.\nPURPOSE\nAct as Financial Business Partner for a range of significant customers and contracts across SITA that have a significant business impact ensuring financial controls are implemented and maintained. Support to the Project Managers, Management and finance team in key financial decisions providing key data to support recommendations.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerformance Management & Financial Control\nPartner with Project Managers to monitor performance against the approved Business Case, identifying variances, risks and opportunities.\nEnsure proper financial handover from Sales to Project Delivery, including approved Business Cases, contracts and supporting documentation.\nEstablish project budgets and financial controls to enable accurate tracking and reporting.\nOversee revenue recognition, billing, P&L monitoring, forecasting and project financial close-out.\nCoordinate month-end closing with Accounting, ensuring accurate accruals, deferrals and balance sheet reporting.\nAnalyse actual performance against budget and forecast, challenge variances and agree corrective actions.\nMaintain project forecasts and monitor contingencies, risks and opportunities.\nPrepare the monthly Project Financial Review (PFR) report and present key performance, variances, forecasts and risks to Regional CFO.\nPrepare quarterly Group CFO review, presenting financial results, outlook, key risks and opportunities.\nProvide financial updates to Solution Line management and participate in Project Review Boards (PRBs).\nWork with local and regional Accounting teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.\nBusiness Partnering\nPartner with Project Managers and business leaders to support operational and strategic decisions as and when required\nAnalyse performance, explain key drivers and recommend actions to improve results.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve profitability, cost efficiency and cash flow.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting and business planning aligned with financial targets.\nDrive improvements in financial processes, reporting and performance management\nCommercial Support for key projects\nProvide financial support throughout the project lifecycle, from bid and contract review to execution and close-out.\nSupport Sales and Project teams in assessing contract changes, variations and claims and their financial impact.\nMonitor project profitability, cost-to-complete, billing and cash collection to identify risks and opportunities.\nProvide financial analysis and scenario modelling for commercial negotiations and business decisions.\nEnsure commercial changes are approved and reflected in budgets, forecasts and financial reports.\nWork with stakeholders to mitigate commercial risks, protect margins and maximise profitability\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE\n- 6+ years as an experienced post qualified Finance Project Controller with experience working within large complex matrix environments.\nPROFESSION COMPETENCIES\nAttention to Detail\nBusiness Acumen\nFinancial Acumen\nFinancial Modeling\nRisk Analysis\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nStrategic thinking and business acumen: Deep understanding of revenue drivers, sales optimization, margin management, and metrics cascades to provide insightful, performance-inflecting decision support to business leaders\nCommunication and storytelling: Excellent storytelling, communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights, analysis and recommendations to decision makers\nAI and digital fluency: Conversational fluency with GenAI and Copilot equivalent to support exploratory analysis and content generation, with sound prompt construction, validation of AI outputs for bias and error, and the judgement to know when human oversight is required. Able to exploit digital technologies for better finance and business outcomes and to drive tool requirement discussions with Data and Analytics / FP&A and technology teams.\nProblem-solving: Ability to challenge assumptions, teach problem analysis techniques to decision makers and identify root causes and develop effective solutions\n Relationship building and collaboration: Proven ability to build strong relationships with business unit leaders and stakeholders.
