ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

The Manager Purchasing role is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day Procurement, RFP, sourcing, contract negotiation, bid support and quote sourcing activities for the local Euro geo requirements and delivering on key objectives, targets and KPI`s for local Euro Geo scope procurements, sourcing and key projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Responsible for day-to-day sourcing and procurement activities for the Euro Geo scope.
• Working with the Group Procurement team and central category leads to leverage central preferred suppliers and category plans to meet the Euro Geo needs but also carry out local sourcing and bid support.
• To create appropriate Regional sourcing strategies, build pipeline and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and Bid teams to reduce cost, mitigate risk and build strong partnerships to drive growth.
• Ensure robust relationships, continuity of supply, and make Sita a customer of choice in the market.
• Support the wider Procurement transformation through the active use and adoption of newly deployed digital tools as well as having an AI mindset to problem solving and sourcing solutions.
• Subject matter expert for the Euro Geo providing innovative procurement strategies to mitigate increasing costs and mitigate risk and alignment with central group strategy.
• Collating and managing bid support, quotes, geo pipeline, negotiation of Sows and terms, renewals, major frameworks and agreements across the Euro Geo scope.
• Ensuring robust due diligence and mitigations in the procurement process related to Euro Geo scope and associated data and AI risks.
• Euro Bid Support, RFP`s, Sourcing activities, E RfX and local scope contract negotiations for Euro Geo scope.
• Ensuring all due diligence is completed in relation to new in scope procurements as per policy and guidance.
• Use, adoption and enhancement of the central procurement team category strategies and business partnering plans.
• Delivery of Regional sourcing plans, and corresponding objectives and commercial value
• Maintaining awareness of latest developments in the Euro Geo along with best practice approaches to mitigate the impact on Sita and our customers.
• Ownership of engagement with assigned Euro and bid team internal stakeholders, including a target BU.
• Play a material role in supporting the Head of Group Procurement to deliver transformational activities across the Procurement team for the Euro Geo scope and remit.
• Progressive approach and engagement to use and drive the adoption of new digital procurement tools being deployed as well as AI use.
• Ensure procurements follow the sustainable sourcing principles and factor in ESG and CSR criteria

Qualifications

• 5+ Years Multi category procurement experience in a global environment
• Business partnering & relationship building
• Experience of working on multiple bids and providing procurement bid support
• Awareness of geo dynamics and working across multi-functional teams
• Negotiation skills - ideally across multiple categories
• Contract Drafting
• Category Management & Regional Strategies
• Team player but with ability to work on own initiative
• Digital tools experience / IT literate / AI Awareness
• Commercial mindset / numeracy
• Inquisitive and innovative
• Supporting and implementing in Geo M&A activity - (Due diligence to implementation).
