Here, we feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow.\nAre you ready to love your job?\nThe adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.\nPURPOSE\nManages a team of resources - FTEs Contractors Offshore - that develops implements maintains and supports software products and applications using appropriate processes methodologies and technologies in compliance with SITA's policies and procedures.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead the development, maintenance, and support of enterprise-scale software applications, integration services, and business-critical systems. Manage the design, enhancement, and delivery of software solutions utilizing Java, CoolGen, and related technologies, ensuring high levels of quality, security, performance, and reliability. Oversee software releases, system enhancements, defect resolution, and reporting capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Drive the analysis and resolution of complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions to support operational excellence.\nManage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, resource allocation, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Promote the adoption of best practices, development standards, and process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness and system maintainability. Work closely with architecture, infrastructure, operations, and project teams to support technology transformation initiatives and ensure software solutions continue to meet evolving business and customer needs.\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE\n- 5+ years experience in a Software Engineering environment.\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\nStrong software development and maintenance experience in enterprise-scale, mission-critical environments.\nProven expertise in Java application development and support, with knowledge of modern software development principles and best practices.\nExperience with CoolGen development and maintenance is highly desirable.\nStrong understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, web services, and distributed application architectures.\nExperience in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex technical and production issues.\nKnowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, change management, and quality assurance practices.\nProficiency in SQL and database technologies, including data analysis and reporting solutions.
