The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in architecture discussions, influence technical decisions, guide solution design, and lead software engineering teams in delivering high-quality products.\nThe Engineering Manager will serve as the technical bridge between Architects, Product Owners, Development Teams, QA, DevOps, and Senior Leadership, ensuring business objectives are translated into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.\nThe ideal candidate combines deep software engineering expertise with strong people leadership capabilities and is comfortable challenging technical assumptions, driving technical roadmaps, and influencing architecture decisions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnical Leadership & Architecture\nActively participate in architecture and solution design discussions alongside Enterprise Architects and Technical Architects.\nDrive technical decision-making and ensure architectural choices align with product strategy and long-term business objectives.\nReview and challenge proposed designs to ensure scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and operational excellence.\nLead technical roadmap definition and execution.\nGuide teams in adopting engineering best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.\nAssess technical feasibility, technical debt, and implementation complexity during planning exercises.\nEngineering Leadership\nLead and manage cross-functional software engineering teams including Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Technical Leads, and Contractors.\nMentor Technical Leads and Senior Developers on architecture, design, and engineering excellence.\nFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and technical ownership.\nDrive engineering effectiveness through metrics and data-driven decision making.\nProduct & Delivery Ownership\nCollaborate closely with Product Owners to translate business goals into technical solutions.\nBreak product roadmaps into technical epics, features, and user stories.\nEnsure user stories are technically sound, properly estimated, and aligned with architectural principles.\nSupport backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI planning, and prioritization activities.\nDrive predictable delivery without compromising technical quality.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as the primary technical escalation point for complex solution and delivery challenges.\nInfluence and collaborate with Architects, Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and other stakeholders.\nCommunicate technical strategies, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nBuild alignment across globally distributed teams.\nTechnology & Innovation\nStay current with emerging technologies, AI-assisted development, cloud-native architectures, and modern engineering practices.\nDrive adoption of automation, DevOps, observability, and AI engineering tools including GitHub Copilot.\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives across development lifecycle processes.\nQualifications\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nEssential\n10+ years of software engineering experience with at least:\n4+ years as a Software Developer / Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead.\n3+ years leading software engineering teams.\nDemonstrated career progression from Software Engineer → Technical Lead → Engineering Manager.\nProven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale software products.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.\nExperience leading architecture reviews and technical design workshops.\nHands-on software development background in:\nJava and/or .NET ecosystems\nREST APIs and Microservices\nEvent-driven architectures\nCloud Platforms (Azure preferred)\nExperience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.\nHighly Desirable\nExperience with:\nKubernetes\nDocker\nAzure Services\nKafka/RabbitMQ\nAPI-led integrations\nReact/Angular front-end architectures\nAI-assisted software development tools (GitHub
