The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.\nABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM\nAs a Product Owner you will be is responsible for maximizing the business value in software products delivered by Agile Scrum Teams.\nThe PO has a strong technical and operational understanding of the product and, as this is primarily an ‘internal facing’ role, they work closely with their Product Manager to gain a clear understanding of the business problems customers need the product to solve, as well as the vision and strategic direction of the overall portfolio.\nIn addition to this, the Product Owner works directly with selected ‘partner’ customers to gain feedback on existing (i.e. delivered), ‘in-flight’ and proposed product features. The Product Owner uses this input plus their own experience to define ‘what’ capabilities (i.e. value) the product should deliver and the relative priority of delivering these capabilities.\nIn order to deliver this value, the Product Owner works hand-in-glove with their Scrum Team (or Scrum Teams in some cases) on a daily basis to refine the Product Backlog, create Features and User Stories, define Acceptance Criteria, set priorities, attend team stand-ups, accept the ‘Done’ stories from the team, demo the work done by the team to the wider community and generally be available to the team on a daily basis to answer their questions on the nature of the features being developed.\nFurthermore, the Product Owner will usually drive the ‘Design Partner’ process whereby a small number of selected SITA customers are provided with incremental software updates throughout the development process of a new release.\nAll requests for work to be performed by the Scrum Team are channelled through and prioritized by the Product Owner.\nReporting to the Senior Product Owner of Baggage you will be a part of our Baggage portfolio team.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nFundamentally understands our customers’ business and the outcomes they want us to deliver. Works with the Product Manager to shape the Portfolio Vision.\n\nResponsible for the end to end delivery of the product and as such is supporting the transition by ensuring that the scope of his/her delivery includes the tasks required to ensure the operability of the final solution.\n\nContributes to the Product Vision in collaboration with the Product Manager and manages the Product Backlog\n\nPopulates the Product Backlog with artifacts that provides the next level of detail to support the delivery of the product road map as defined with the Product Manager.\n\nSpecifies Functional requirements, Non-Functional Requirements & Acceptance Criteria.\n\nResponsible for discussing the features of the product and supporting the functional analysis of the backlog and call out priorities of the roadmap.\n\nWorks with the Scrum Team to define Sprint goals. Attends Scrum ceremonies\n\nAccepts (or rejects) the team’s work during the sprint and at the End of Sprint Review. Demos the teams (accepted) work to the wider SITA community & customers.\n\nReviews and approves proposed SOW’s with GEO teams before these are presented to the customer.\n\nDefines PI or Release time-boxes. Defines MVP for a release.\n\nQualifications\nABOUT YOUR SKILLS\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a significant product owner function.\n\nBusiness / Engineering / Science related qualification to at least Bachelor’s Degree level typically. Other Degree level backgrounds considered.\n\nExperience operating with AI.\n\nExperience of working with and across multiple agile scrum teams.\n\nExperience of working directly with customers.\n\nA proactive, dynamic and positive attitude.\n\nYou like to work well within teams.\n\nOutstanding communication and presentation skills\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nNICE-TO-HAVE\nExperience in Air Transport Industry highly desirable.\n\nCSPO/ PSPO / ICP-APO / ICP-PDM certificate\n\nGood knowledge of Business Intelligence / Analytics tools\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\nWe're all about diversity.
